Conti's Mango Bravo

Every Sunday, after last full service at Victory The Fort, Jaybee and I always have our late dinner anywhere near the church. August 21, 2011 -- I asked him to have our dinner in Contis located in Bonifacio High Street, because I’ve been craving for their MANGO BRAVO for almost a month. He was kind of hesitant because for him, 75php for a slice of cake is expensive. But of course, I used my rebuttal powers, so I won! hihi!

We had our main dish first, I ordered Garlic Prawn Pasta. (260.00phph) Prawns sautéed in garlic and olive oil with bits of tomatoes, black olives and capers tossed with fettuccine and parmesan.

Jaybee had his Chicken Roulade (Php 225.00) Roulade of chicken with spinach, cheese and caramelized onion served with garlic rice or with Saffron Mushroom Risotto (Additional Php 30.00)

And drinks. Pineapple shake for him (65.00 php) and yellow mango shake for me (80.00 php).

And finally, our desert. Conti's Mango Bravo. Back in Convergys, my former boss gave it as a price for the team being a top performer. It was the first time I tasted it, and then it became my personal favorite. 

Conti's Mango Bravo. It's a chilled, frozen layer of sponge cake, cream, cashew, chocolate mousse, with white mango cream which has mango chunks on top drizzled with chocolate drippings. Yes! It's a layer of those delectable things which made it so tall.

 I should say that this is a must try for cake lovers out there. The combination of flavors is perfect. It was funny how Jaybee reacted the first time he tasted the cake. It actually shows on the photo. Seriously! Hahaha!!

The regular size is 850.00php, a mini size cake is 450.00php and a slice will costs you 75.00php.
